Project Genesis

HIGHLIGHTING PAYPAL’S ADDED VALUE FOR E-COMMERCE MERCHANTS

In Europe and Asia, the PayPal brand is known and recognized, but its added value for entrepreneurs is not always well understood. It is in this context that we launched the Business Stories by PayPal campaign, aimed at small and medium-sized e-commerce businesses, PayPal prospects, and users.

• Influence : Collaborate with young influential brands for the choice of entrepreneurs.

…FOR INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION

• Creation of a landing page for each country.
• Distribution of native videos on Facebook and LinkedIn.
• Use of the films as evergreen content on PayPal.com and PayPal CRM programs in EMEA and Asia markets.
• Creation of “stories” called “Small Business Tips” by the entrepreneur, to tease the campaign on smartphones.

After 3 months of the campaign…

• Reach: 6 million
• Video completion rate: 84% (versus an average of 45%)
• Facebook engagement rate: 36%
• +2.4% in new PayPal business account openings on PayPal.com
